Turns out to be an insurance phone salesperson job 9/10.

I knew a guy in college who had to do this, he had a degenerative eye disease or something that no amount of glasses, hard contacts, or whatever could fix. It seemed like it royally sucked, but he always seemed in good spirits.

Except I vaguely recall he impaled his own leg on a sharp branch while jogging because he couldn’t see it. That would suck.

Do you have any recommendations for RDP?

Right now I run a bunch of windows boxes at home and it’s super nice to be able to VPN to home and then RDP into them, the responsiveness is really solid.

I haven’t really found a comparable setup with Linux, I tried VNC but the sluggishness was real. I also tried RustDesk, but there were some weird shortcut key issues randomly.

There’s a vending machine in a co-working space I use sometimes that has a full on fridge and oven, and when you order off the touchscreen…something happens inside and sometimes a hot cooked thing comes out. I have no idea how it works and have not used it myself, because it seems possibly kinda gross.
