Tbh this is kinda mean of the test site. There should be a better explanation, especially if you test below a certain threshold. If you call it the “top” anything, the framing is just misleading. I get that you dont wanna bully people for their IQ but it really should switch to “Your IQ is in the bottom X%” once your result is below 100

I suspect the people are also confusing percentile, like for standardized tests, and top % like this site uses.

But yeah, real big “if those kids could read they’d be very upset” energy with these posts, lol.

So whoever posted this to the vegan sub is just a troll, I saw an identical one used on a different meme a while ago. Out off curiosity I went and took their test, and stopped when it asked for 10 dollars to get my results.

It’s worded that way because they want people to be happy with their purchase.

That IQ testing site has us sharing free publicity for them. And there are folks in this very thread admitting to have gone to the site and started taking the test. Probably none of that free PR would have happened had the site reported in a way that made the tweeter think twice about whether that result was brag-worthy or not.

Seems to me the way it reports its results is in fact working very well. (For Truetest .)
