Probably because “installing unsigned code from an unknown source” is a mouthful. Installing implicitly means “from within the walled garden” on these devices.

Some fighting games let you filter games by connection and even connection type (wifi warriors you should be ashamed), but the primary matchmaking is skill based, and that still seems to work.

It’s not supported. According to the devs rooting defeats the purpose of Graphene OS.
A game that receives updates in a regular manner. There is an expectation that players support these updates by buying things, and to encourage this live service games tend to have things that try to be habit-forming or are available for limited periods of time, such as battlepasses.
Since Android Webview is Chromium, this reads to me like it’s making it into Chrome anyway.

I understand Nexon, and F2P, and all that, but having played this in Closed Beta I found it to be a really enjoyable game. Hopefully they don’t mar it with overaggressive monetization.
You might also be able to turn on Battery Idle Mode, although it’s not supported on every device.

The upscaler is trained on higher resolution data and so it can more accurately depict subpixel and temporal information which is lost at native. DLSS can produce more detail than native in those cases.
