Either turn off the gas if you can safely do it, or call your gas company so they can shut off the supply to your house.

“Hey hon, get in here. I want you to try this”
This! Uncle Bob is a garbage person. Used to really respect him, but F that guy.
The novelty of Alexa wore off so quickly. Once the “maybe I shouldn’t hook a microphone provided by a corporation in my home” thought crossed my mind I got rid of all of them.
It really is more of a visual medium. A picture is worth a thousand words after all!
They asked to be taken out, what more do you need to go on?
Printing Butt is fun and all, but if I’m at the point of logging nonsense, it is usually a stronger word.
They do, and it works because it is poking fun of the corporate hellscape we live in, which is whimsical. If they become real ads it will make the games less fun to play.
VR makes it even creepier with eye and head tracking. Not only will they present tailored ads, they will know which ones draw your gaze.
This is a really interesting idea, but a password manager would throw a wrench in it.
I’d assume my password was invalidated or stored incorrectly, so I’d reset, then I’d try to log in, wtf… this website blows.
It’s not very sexy, but I just use SFTP and filezilla. Filezilla is available for all the major operating systems, and an ssh server is basically required anyways.

Service has gotten worse at many places. The servers are still great, but quite a few places have adopted the model of having you scan a QR code, you order online, pay with your credit card plus tip, they have you pick it up at a window, you eat, and at the end you bus your own table. Then they have options like 18, 25 and 30% to guilt you into the middle one. It’s like, damn I haven’t even talked to anyone yet, you’re jumping to the end first
I enjoy Ubuntu server. At the end of the day I just want something simple. I run most of my services in docker compose, and zfs for the filesystem.
Big orb bright, hurt eyes.
This reminded me of having to install a codec pack like klite or cccp as one of the first things on a fresh install. I’m glad that isn’t a thing anymore.
Yeah a dozen or so commits updating readme files isn’t exactly compelling stuff. Any of us could do this in five minutes on GitHub.
