There are a lot of valid reasons, other than security, for why you wouldn’t want that though. You don’t necessarily want to allow any client’s activity to be traceable on an individual level, nor do you want to allow people to do things like count the number of clients at a particular location. Information like that is just unnecessary to expose, even if hiding it doesn’t make anything more secure per se.

But I guess obviously something called “tmpfiles” is responsible for your home folder, how couldn’t you know that?

That’s absolutely not true. Sure, there are lots of cases where individuals have limited personal liability under their company, but this doesn’t mean no-one goes to jail for illegal business activity. In fact it happens all the time.

Please explain how Google would get my location if I don’t run a phone with Google location services and / or don’t allow Google services and apps to access my location. Sure, they may know where you are roughly based on your IP, but that’s just within a very broad region, and can easily be obfuscated by a VPN. Google siphons a shitton of information from everywhere they can, but it’s not like they’ve secretly implanted everyone with a tracking chip either… And neither can they get around any device’s OS-level location permission system.

… Yes. Many AAA games this generation can run at native 4K on Series X and PS5, but in most games with demanding graphics you have to choose between that with a 30-40 FPS target, or 1440p and 60-120 FPS with VRR.

That’s not true, M1 Pro and Max MacBooks both support dual external monitors.

The scaling and lack of available resolution problems is very real though. If you have monitors with a slightly non-standard resolution, you basically need third party software like SwitchResX, which is pretty stupid considering Windows has no problems like this at all.

They made some excuses and left immediately when they thought they were no longer just prying on a single brittle old lady.

Super strange because on PS5 the load times are extremely fast since the patch. indoor / outdoor transitions are never longer than 4 or 5 seconds, and quick travel maybe 6 or so

The console versions totally have mod support, albeit limited. The most important mods like the unofficial patch are there.
