Well, it bloody hell is! Me not being bothered to get to school in time is also an excuse! It might not be a good excuse, but that wasn’t the question
Be happy that your local culture isn’t 8 to 4 instead of 9 to 5… Bring a night owl sucks here…
That’s it. You won the internet for today.
1L of water/milk = 1kg. This holds true for most liquids that are measured by volume in metric recipes.
God dammit. It’s Monday morning and I already crave a whisky sour.
It’s not like you’re eating out of your ass. There’s actually a reason why you must wash your hands with soap every time you have had your hand in the nether region.
That’s what a year of being a software architect does to you.
Can confirm, it looked better as a pitch black blob.
This fact might save my live one day
You’re welcome, now you don’t need to risk your own phone in order to know :p
Yeah, I had the exact same thoughts about the risk to the phone, but curiosity got the best of me. The phone worked fine for several years afterwards so no harm done.
I once charged my phone by holding it over an induction cooktop. Only for a couple of seconds though as I was afraid to fry my phone, but it did it over 40cm
Jokes on you, my power bank has solar cells. About the nail though…
I think for most people it’s kinda a shit n forget situation. As soon as I have dropped the load I want to disown it and forget it faster than you can say “shit”. You know just like pa did it.
I’m currently looking at onedev.io for personal and startup use but since I haven’t had an opportunity to test it out yet I can’t vouch for it. It looks cool though and seems to have a good rep.
In the tech sector it can also work as free advertising for the company the trial person works at. I’m for example using a tool on the free tier for log aggregation and monitoring which I really like. I’ve thought of doing a startup sometime within the next year and at that point I already know that tool and will probably look at implementing that as the first option.
Self hosters are a powerful marketing tool.
If you wanna say “hello shark!” in Danish you’ll say “hej haj!”
Good thing we don’t have sharks in Danish waters otherwise it’ll become pretty awkward when you greet someone at the beach.
