You can also get a “long espresso” which is basically a diluted espresso, and is still not the same as an Americano (and this is where my coffee knowledge stops, so I’m not sure what the differences are exactly). I also have some Italian family and they would probably disown me if I said that the Americano is the “default” black coffee

Yeah they usually have the most dramatic impact on games that have bad CPU optimization, which is a lot of them tbh
I think the 5700x3d is the first one they made, iirc it outperformed even the high end CPUs from the next generation in quite a few benchmarks, but probably not the 7000 gen. If you want to keep the possibility of upgrading, I would advise against the 5700x3d because that’s basically already the best for this socket. By all accounts it’s great value for its price though.
You should try to go for a Ryzen “3D” variant with extra cache if you can spare the extra money, it works wonders on some games. I’ve had no issues with mine (7900x3d) so far on Linux

The brake pedal in the first picture is more than twice as wide as the accelerator, and it’s only about ~50% wider in the second picture
Yeah, it’s not “emergency brake” levels of slam (where you would indeed slam on both pedals), but it usually gets pressed a lot faster and harder than how you’d press on the braking pedal when braking normally.
Basically, monkey brain expects the left foot to meet with a pedal and will absolutely settle for the brake pedal if not reasoned with. I’ve done it a few times myself.
Because there is no inherent benefit to easing the clutch “in”. At least that’s the reason they gave me when I was learning how to drive, and my mechanic doesn’t seem to disagree. Basically, you want to disengage the transmission from the engine as soon as possible (especially when you’re doing that to benefit from the engine brake), change your gear, then gently ease the clutch “out”
You slam on the clutch to change gears. And you get used to changing gears while decelerating to use the engine brake as much as possible
I guess it could be construed as racist when it’s literally “master/slave”. But I have never seen it as a normalization of slavery because there usually is no value attached to the terms, it’s just describing the relation between them. And I don’t think acknowledging that a slave generally doesn’t have much say in doing what their master tells them is racist in itself or endorsing/normalizing slavery.
But also, I am white, and there are other terms we can use that can describe this kind of relation just fine, so, whatever. I just get mildly annoyed when some stuff that was working perfectly fine gets deprecated just to change these terms and I have to adapt to it.
Or all the backpacks that will supposedly last your entire life. The companies that actually mean it have them under warranty for several decades though (or even until the actual end of your life but it requires some form of registration)
