I only said it wasn’t ok to victim blame, I’m not at all saying discord is the victim.

The article says the code was not hosted on discord. Even if it was, the code does not infringe on any Nintendo copyright. Having a grudge against discord doesn’t make it fair to victim blame
How about I share something from my own country. What I reckon is that only some of my data goes to the US government through Google, Microsoft etc. while the Chinese government controls corporations like tencent much more than the US government controls US corporations. Besides all that, services from Microsoft and Google are much harder to avoid than for example tiktok and Huawei. So the US is getting my data no matter what, I might as well limit how much of it goes to china.
Why would they? This project doesn’t have anything to do with them
It could never reach the moon, the tower would fall over much sooner.
The problem with Roblox is that they themselves are the creeps exploiting kids
Something like scratch is probably a much easier introduction.
I do agree with that.
That’s fair enough, but it’s still an awards show, surely those should be the important bit? If wants to be the next E3 it shouldn’t do that half-assed and either split it off into a separate show, or drop the awards so a better show can get the focus.
Can’t wait for some teenager to smash it as a dare.
Physical games degrade. They can get filthy or stop working. I’m talking about reselling digital games. If I want to play for example the last of us, I would have zero incentive to buy a new digital copy if I can buy a resold licence from someone who already finished it for a much lower price.
On top of that, digital games also don’t have to deal with actually needing to transfer between buyer and seller. You don’t need to meet up or send it by mail. It’s an instant transaction that has a much larger pool of sellers and customers.
This heavily favours games with a high replayability factor, and games that aren’t very repayable aren’t inherently inferior. Consider puzzle games or games with some kind of major twist. If you know what to do in outer wilds you can complete it in 20 minutes or so. Similar thing for the witness. These are extreme examples but it applies to things like story based games too.
I don’t have kids and thought it looked cute
Tomatoes are only fruits in a biological sense, vegetable is a culinary term so it makes no sense to mix them up.
Honestly the fact that Pringles don’t have an overpowering flavour is partly why I like them
AFAIK, the first one is the real check, the second one is too train their image recognition AI.
They got done dirty, I hadn’t even heard of the lamplighters league until a friend of mine at triumph mentioned it recently. Paradox majorly dropped the ball on this one, with setting the release so close to the widely anticipated city skylines 2 and then not doing any advertising for it.
I’d say the lowest bars are letting people change controller bindings and not adding features that rely purely on colour.
Seems like such a company would quickly drop their journalism branch if it’s the merch that’s providing traffic and revenue.
