You’re missing the point completely. Op is blaming other people for his/her lack of income. It’s not other people’s responsibility to provide you with an income. You have to do what it takes to provide it. There are people who sit around and blame others for their circumstances in life, and there are others who just do what it takes. At some point, when you’re an adult, you have to start taking responsibility for yourself. As I stated in another comment, I’ve seen addicts go from homeless to very successful because they learned to stop blaming others for their circumstances and start accepting responsibility for themselves.
Life is easier now than it’s ever been, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Life is still hard. You have to be willing to work, and do what it takes to get what you want.
It doesn’t matter what any job pays. If you work hard, the you should be able to make more. That may mean getting more hours because you’re worth it. It may mean moving up and getting a raise. It may mean working 2 or 3 jobs.
I’ve started several jobs at minimum wage, but I’ve never made minimum wage for more than a month. I work hard at everything I do, whether I like it or not. I’ve also worked 3 jobs, and been homeless. I’m not homeless anymore, and it’s not because I whined about not making enough money. It’s because I busted my ass and made myself indispensable.
The opportunities are out there. They’re not going to come knocking at your door. You have to get out there, work hard, and find them. There was a time when that was just common sense. I just don’t understand why people think they should just be handed opportunities.
I’m not good at math, so I just call everyone marklar.
