I have a small 6U rack in my hallway which is where all the server stuff sits. There are 1U UPS units, but I haven’t had the need for it yet. However after replacing motherboard on this current machine I forgot to turn on option for auto start after power failure. My servers are mostly for collecting data regarding temperature, humidity and other metrics around the house, glass house and other parts. Same machine also collects surveillance data from cameras around the property which detect human and animal shapes.

So since machine rarely does long term calculations or data processing it’s okay that it doesn’t have UPS, since no data would be coming anyway without power.

You should watch actually AI safety researcher’s thoughts on this. Here’s the link. It’s partially overhyped, but huge strides have been made in this area and it shouldn’t be taken lightly. It’s best to be extra careful than ignorant.

Actually AI wouldn’t even recognize either of those as a cow let alone one long, unless it was specifically trained to look for cow’s head or ass.

While true, Git also supports symlinks, so nothing is stopping you from having modules/ directory or something similar and then in link part of it elsewhere in your project.

They can take more torque, don’t cam out when screwing and most importantly can’t be damaged easily by constantly using the screw, unlike Philips which fucks off after second attempt.

You can screw but can’t unscrew because it lifts the driver.

Wow, person making this chart actually has no clue. First two are absolute worst nightmare. Torx, Pozidrive, JIS, Alan all great with minimum damage.

Because they are no bullshit brand. You get what you pay for. Open the box, put it somewhere, connect to WIFI and forget about it. The moment you need it, it will happily spring to life without complaints and then go back to sleep.

It’s hardly believable how problem-free these printers are. They have a bunch of models, but you always get what you pay for. Laser is this much, a bit more expensive is LAN model, a bit more LAN+WIFI, then higher up scanner added, etc. They also work without drivers on Linux. Company also allows recycled and third party toners. In my case they are even faster to receive data and print than any other printer I’ve had. They even don’t send statistics back home, even though they are network connected.

Wait until you find out how USA and SSSR got their space programs so fast up and running.

It absolutely is. The fact you lack humor in any shape or form is a problem of your own. More to the point, what others find funny is not up to you to decide, luckily.
