Soon as I saw Walton Goggins on the cast list, I knew it had to be good somewhere. He never disappoints.

Just wanted to chime in as well: Thought I’d watch one episode, watched all eight in the end. It was really good.

I’m a cheapo, so I’ll wait for a sale, but yes, it looks really good. I definitely want to pick it up at some point.

I just finished it, twice too, back-to-back. It’s really an amazing game.

I suppose the issue is with the ZA/UM politics (the original creators have been forced out of the company), so some people are suggesting to pirate it instead. That is up to you.

This is a ridiculous award to begin with, since platforms are long-running things and this is just a popularity contest for the past year.

I don’t know, it’s been another year of overpriced GPUs that didn’t advance as much as some past generations have.

Got this game as a gift. No FoV control so I get motion sickness. :(

Read some reviews, the flaws don’t sound great. It also didn’t get very high ratings, so probably they saw the writing on the wall for this one.

Sleeper hits don’t make money in games too, I guess, with the way sales are done. Usually most of the money is made within the first month or so, right? I’m guessing they did some analysis and felt that the money wouldn’t be coming in.

Note, it wasn’t even sold globally. Still waiting for an official launch here in SEA.

Though I feel that has peaked too, I think the recommendation engine was best around 2011 to 2015. It’s kinda gone downhill since.

Did they forget that failed CCG that Valve was trying? Pretty sure that went into Mostly Negative for a bit too.

I think the issue is being privacy-minded but being on YouTube. But I guess there are different levels of privacy, one doesn’t have to be at hermit-like levels. xD

Demo CDs are just a delivery mechanism, and I consider this way better.

Now the practice of giving a demo for a game, that does need to return.

Yea, I do it less for privacy reasons, and more for tidiness. Tracking parameters can be so unwieldly nowadays. Something that’s 30-40 characters long can balloon to 200-300 characters.

People generally don’t care (I myself am not at the level of this community). It also involves enough technical know-how that most people won’t care. It’s like asking people to use a CLI, not going to happen. I’m pretty sure I’m one of the few people who still C&P URLs to share, most people hit a “Share” button.

I really should play the first one, but lately I’ve realised first-person puzzlers have a higher chance of giving me motion sickness, so… :S
