Oh right, only a matter of time before google makes android even less backwards compatible. To be fair tho, there’s not much about a dailer to be updated

• A family member might have searched it
• An ad network might have reported on your piracy (especially now with privacy sandbox)
• Your media player might just be doing some tracking and/or insecure searching for metadata
• Siri or something might have popped open
• You googled to get to the piracy website
• You may have just looked up the movie, and the movie was popular with pirates

Well, yes, technically. But then again, if google decides to stop doing that firefox can’t pay for it’s staff or infrastructure. Really, they have an incentive to listen

Chrome came up with that feature a while back. Now firefox is adding the same. And then later I learned it was a cooperative effort, just not under the same name

They developed the “privacy sandbox” together. And in terms of cashflow, they depend on that google money. They’re in trouble without it

I personally run an older build of emby, the open source software jellyfin was forked from. It’s very similar, but I found emby’s video transcoding (or explicit not transcoding) to be more reliable

Europe has decent privacy laws, that’s how I avoid it

Their warnings tend to be a bit quicker

Personally, I say F smart tv’s. The smart bit is going to be old and useless in three years. The panel will last me over a decade.
