Microsoft has quietly revealed that WordPad, the basic word processor that's been included with Windows since 1995, is being retired.

    It was nice that it was there by default. Before cloud word processors it was useful if you were maintaining a bunch of windows servers and wanted some clean looking playbooks.

    No ones shedding any tears though I think.
