    Really speaks to how far we’ve come since 2018. PlayOnLinux was the simplest way to get Windows games working and that was still a lot of tinkering.

      And that was a big step above just trying to get Wine configured to play games. I did that once way back. It was just too much work for worse performance than Windows. I’m sure there were Linux wizards out there who did a better job getting their games working in Linux than I did.

      Now I’m primarily enjoying PC games on a Steam Deck with almost no configuration needed. Amazing!

      Jesus christ. I was thinking my head “has it really changed that much in just like 2 years”. Then reality set in :(
